ALCOVE is a first-of-its-kind private productive space, featuring state-of-the-art custom pods bookable on-demand. ALCOVE’s first location is nestled in Park Slope (462 7th Ave., Brooklyn), in a chic, peaceful and plant-filled space located on the ground floor of a historic building. Featuring large windows, natural light, exposed brick and wood floors, the space also offers additional seating, filtered water, and a bathroom available for guest use, as well as a front desk associate present onsite at all times and partnerships offering discounts at nearby cafes.

Each 4x7' ALCOVE Pod is soundproof up to 30 decibels and custom-fitted with an adjustable sit-stand desk, ergonomic leather chair, thoughtful decor and a dimmable interior light. Wifi and charging ports are accessible in each pod, and monitors and screen protectors are available.

Download the Optix app (iOS, Android), create an account at ALCOVE and select the “New Guest Complimentary First Hour” package. Then, tap the “Reserve a Pod” button on the app home screen to reserve your first hour. Email us with any questions.

There are two options for reserving a pod:
Use our drop-in reservation web widget here to reserve a Pod by the hour at any time without using our app.
Download the Optix app (iOS, Android) and create an account at ALCOVE in order to receive your first hour of your Pod reservation free, purchase a membership (packages of hours and recurring plans), and manage your existing reservations (reschedule, cancel), payment methods and account information
Note, once you have purchased a membership or first-hour-free package, you will still need to tap the “Reserve a Pod” button at the top of the app home screen in order to make a reservation using your membership.

All ALCOVE Pods are functionally the same (4x7' ft, soundproof up to 30 decibels, and custom-fitted with high-speed wifi, an adjustable sit-stand desk, monitor, ergonomic leather chair, thoughtful decor and a dimmable interior light). However, their positions in the space mean some Pods receive more natural light and some have extra visual privacy. Stay tuned for a handy map of our pods, coming soon! In the meantime, here’s a quick guide:
Pod 1 - Meadowport Arch receives a mix of natural light and some visual privacy.
Pod 2 - Cherry Esplanade is situated in our front window and receives the most natural light of all of our Pods!
Pod 3 - Litchfield Villa is tucked into a corner of our space with great visual privacy.
Pod 4 - Palm House is situated in the middle of our space and receives natural light from our windows.
Pod 5 - Vale of Cashmere is nestled in the back corner of our space with complete visual privacy.

We are currently open Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM.

Our current holiday schedule for 2025 is as follows:
Closed Jan. 1, Jan. 20, May 26, July 4, Sept. 1, Nov. 27-28, Dec. 25-26, Dec. 31
Note, ALCOVE may be closed on additional days - check Pod reservation availability through our drop-in reservation widget or app to confirm.

Our standard pricing is $15/hour. Full-day (8-hour) reservations are automatically offered at a special price of $13.95/hour.
Membership plans and packages are available with special pricing as low as $12/hour.

Your reservation secures access to an ALCOVE Pod for your reserved time. Featuring large windows, natural light, exposed brick and wood floors, the space also offers additional seating, filtered cold and hot water, and a bathroom available for guest use, as well as a front desk associate present onsite at all times and partnerships offering discounts at nearby cafes.

You may cancel or reschedule your reservation at any time up to 4 hours prior to your reservation. For questions about rescheduling a reservation closer to your reservation time, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate requests.

If you purchase a drop-in (hourly) reservation and you do not have an ALCOVE Membership (plan or package of hours), you will be charged at the time of booking your reservation for the full price of the reservation.
The billing policy for Members varies by Membership type:
If you have a Recurring Membership (monthly or weekly plan), you will be charged on the date you first purchase the plan, and charged recurrently every 30 days (monthly) or 7 days (weekly) after the date of first purchase.
If you have a Membership Package (one-time pack of hours), you will be charged in full on the date you first purchase the plan.
When you make drop-in reservations of Pods after purchasing a Membership, you will not make any additional payments until your allowance is fully used. For example, if you have the Engage Plan (10 hours of Pod credits recurring monthly), you will not make any additional payments for reservations until you have used 10 hours’ worth ($150) of credits. After that, you will be charged the hourly rate for any additional reservations.
If you have an Unlimited Membership, you will not make any additional payments for reservations as long as your Membership is valid.

Please note, once purchased, Membership Packages (one-time packs of hours) are not refundable. Please reach out to us if you have a request related to a Package and we will do our best to accommodate.

The minimum reservation time is 15 minutes; however, we highly recommend reserving at least one hour to allow for time to settle in and take full advantage of your Pod!

Yes, you’re welcome to bring coffee, snacks, lunch, etc! Please note, guests are responsible for any damage to property within the Pods (see details in section 13 of our TOU).

We don’t currently serve food or beverages at our Park Slope location. In lieu of onsite coffee, snacks and lunch, please use one of our partnership cards with nearby cafe Little Honey (available to pick up in-person at ALCOVE) to receive 10% off your purchases there!

Stay tuned! Our first two-person collaboration Pod will arrive in early 2025. In the meantime, all Pods are single-occupancy. Let us know via email if you plan to use our two-person Pod and we’ll be sure to update you!

Our space and seating nooks are available for guests who have reserved an ALCOVE Pod to use within 30 minutes of their reservation. For example, if your Pod reservation is from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, you may access our space and seating nooks from 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM.

Currently, all Pods are single-occupancy. You are welcome to share our reservation link with another guest and if they have not visited previously, they can take advantage of our New Guest Complimentary Hour pass with the instructions shown under “How can I receive a complimentary first hour?”

Yes, ALCOVE is available for event bookings, including group bookings / buyouts and after-hours events. Please email us to discuss.

No pets are permitted, and all guests must be 18 years of age or older.
Service dogs individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability are permitted. See section 21 of our terms for more information.

Yes, there is room for strollers to be brought inside the space (outside your Pod) during your reservation.

Bikes can be locked to our fenced-in area outside, but we cannot accept responsibility for them.
